Recipe for Dave Williamson's Sauerkraut Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 - 28 oz jars of Gundelsheim sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion - chopped
  • 1 medium granny smith apple - chopped
  • 1 Tbl brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • Directions:

    Melt butter over medium heat until foaming subsides. Add onion and apple and cook until lightly browned. Add brown sugar and cook an additional 2 minutes. Add sauerkraut and saute for several minutes.
