Recipe for Stuffing -- Herb stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 3 Quarts slightly dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup snipped parsley
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 6 tbsp melted butter or margerine
  • 1 cup canned condensed chicken broth (2 chicken boullion cubes in 1c hot water)
  • Directions:

    Combine bread, onion, and seasonings, parsley, onion, and butter

    Add broth and toss lightly to mix

    Makes 8 cups, or enough for a 12-lb turkey
